I took a class last year at Wildcraft Studio from an Incredible basket weaver, Jennah Lucht. She is an indigenous basket artist that wants to make basketry accessible to everyone. I've become obsessed. All of my materials, patterns, and kits are from Jennah at Jill Choate Basketry.

The "Dog Star Tray"
This was my first basket I made, but wow, it turns out this was not a beginner's class. Luckily, I did so well that I felt like I could do any basket after this!

"Indian Summer" Picnic Basket
This was the first basket I made on my own. I learned braided handles and overlay and want to make another in different colors.

The "Tamarack Pack"
Just finished this one and it was tricky, but I can't wait to go foraging and show it off at the farmer's market!

Riftbound TCG Score Tokens
I designed these half-inch tokens in Affinity Designer and Autodesk Fusion, then 3D printed them with PLA filament and hand painted the Riftbound symbol.

Loki’s Reflection
Loki’s Reflection is a commissioned portrait that plays with contrast in personality and self-perception. Loki is rendered as she is, alert, curious, and quietly expressive. Her reflection shifts into something more guarded and watchful, almost gargoyle-like in form. The difference between the two is intentional. Rather than mirroring her exactly, the reflection suggests an inner version shaped by protection, resilience, and stillness. The piece explores how softness and vigilance can exist side by side, and how what we show the world is not always the full story.

My artistic process is immersive and detail focused. I work in layers, spending time with the subject and letting small details guide the direction of the piece. I pay close attention to light, texture, and expression, but I am just as focused on capturing presence. I want the work to feel familiar and alive, not simply accurate. Much of my practice comes from sitting with an image until it reveals what needs to be emphasized rather than forcing it to conform to a fixed plan.

Creating commissioned work within a local community adds depth to the experience. These pieces are not just images, but shared moments shaped by relationship and story. I continue to welcome commissions and collaborations that value connection, trust, and meaningful detail.

Ferns & Dragonfly, 2025
This tattoo was designed for my client Maddie. I love doing nature themed tattoos. These ferns are loosely based on leaves from a rabbit’s foot fern growing in the front of Tattoos on Woodstock.

Tattoo Flash, 2024
Tattoo flash is a colloquialism for the pages of tattoo designs that have been collected in books and hung on walls of tattoo shops since the 19th century. These are four pages I designed digitally using Procreate last year and are currently hanging up at Tattoos on Woodstock.
